Yet the sound of the word stirs something within her… you could call it nostalgia; echoes and resonations from the past…her kannimangas keep falling, from the tree of her life as she picks them up to savour…

Excuse the fleeting sourness that takes over once in a while as the storms and currents of the material world sweeps through the tree and catches on to the kannimangas, in the form of hatred & disdain; both emotional and ideological.

Well, that’s Alamel’s mango tree for you. She had planted one elsewhere but it didn’t turn out to be as prosperous as she would have liked it to be… but she could not ofcourse afford to overlook the kannimangas she picked from those grounds…
